LHMS Choir Calendar 2019 – 2020

 

*Thursday, October 17th – Fall Choir Concert, Ellison HS, 6:00pm– 6, 7, 8th Grade- REQUIRED

 

Saturday, October 19th – All-Region Choir Camp – all day-- Charles Patterson MS – 7th, 8th Grade only. This is a chance for all potential Region choir participants to get a head start on learning the Region Contest music.  All of the middle schools in the district will be participating.  Lunch is provided.  More info for interested students will come home very soon.

 

*Tuesday, December 3rd – Winter Choir Concert, Ellison HS, 7:30pm– 6, 7, 8 Grade- REQUIRED

 

Tuesday, January 14th – “Evening Sing” -- CPMS, 6-8:30 pm.- 7th & 8th graders only.

*Those who are eligible to go to Region auditions will have an opportunity to do a mock-audition in preparation for the contest along with other students from Killeen ISD. (Opportunity for Community service hours)

 

Saturday, January 18th – All–Region Choir Auditions – Belton HS All Day –7th, 8th Graders that register to audition.

 

Saturday, January 25th – All–Region Clinic/ Concert – Bryan HS– All Day – Only 7th and 8th Grade students that make the All-Region Choir.

Monday, January 27th - Friday, February 7th - Chocolate Fundraiser!

Thursday, February 6th - Choir Skate Party - Texas Skateland - 5:30-7:30 pm - 6th-8th Grade invited

 

*Thursday, March 5th – 7/8 Choir Pre-UIL Concert – Ellison HS – 6:00pm – 7, 8 Grade- REQUIRED with CPMS and possibly another school.

 

*Thursday, March 19th – 6th Grade Choir Festival – Ellison HS – 6:00pm –6th Grade only- REQUIRED with CPMS and possibly another school.

 

*Thursday or Friday, March 26th or 27th – Choir UIL Contest – Shoemaker HS –Times TBA—7th & 8th Grade only- REQUIRED for behavior eligible students

 

Saturday, April 25th—KISD MS Choir Solo/Ensemble Contest—Manor Middle School—

6th, 7th, 8th grade students.  Students will be given performance times.  They will only be at the site for a short period of time. (30 minutes or less) More info to come. 

 

*Tuesday, May 5th- Spring Concert --Ellison HS – 6:00pm 6th, 7th, 8th grade REQUIRED
